- Sheep grazing at Springbank. View from the south looking towards Springbank and Black Mountain. Trees surrounding the homestead are visible in the centre and haystacks are on the right. The haystacks mark the area where the Canberra School once stood from 1880.

- The Springbank property is covered by Lake Burley Griffin although the homestead site is commemorated by Springbank Island.
