Summary
The Social Service Association was created by the Federal Capital Commission (FCC) to encourage community spirit. Among their projects was the construction of the Causeway Hall. An edited version is in Canberra Historical Journal NS 36, pages 7-17.
Notes
The speaker was a Senior Lecturer in Communications at the University of Canberra. An edited version of the talk appears in the Canberra Historical Journal New Series 36, September 1995.
