- The plaque was moved to Glebe Park when the old Griffin Centre was demolished. Daley was a senior public servant closely involved in the administration of Canberra for most of the first half of the 20th century. He also served as President of the Canberra & District Historical Society. Refer to 'As I Recall' published by the CDHS which includes articles on Canberra's history written by Daley for The Canberra Times.
