- On the back is written "Brassey House 22nd June (Mond.) Dear Mother, I will be leaving here on Wednesday evening train 8.20pm. When I was in Sydney bougt my train ticket to Melbourne via Canberra as I could stay here for the week and it was alright. I'm not sure what time the train arrives at Spencer on Thursday but I have to join the Sydney Melb train at Albury. The weather has been beautiful here until today rained a bit. Love to all from Dorothy. If you could ring father and let him know."
