Portrait of John Frederick Gilbey 1901. John Frederick Gilbey (1864-1901) came to Australia and joined the gold rush at Lambing Flat. Later he was a Civil Engineer with the NSW Railways Department and then manager of Cadell's Station at Deepwater.
