Richard Alfred (Alf) Meech (1887-1915) was the son of Isaac and Rosanna Meech, pioneers of Queanbeyan. Rosanna Meech was the daughter of Isaac and Susan Blundell. Private Meech died of wounds received in action at Lone Pine on 7 August 1915.
